You’ll get a sampling of what type of edutainment they can offer your library patrons. A list of participating performers is at the link above.

    Registration is required. This webinar will be recorded and a recording will be shared with all registrants afterward. All participants will have the option to request a certificate of attendance for 1.5 contact hours.

  • Register Now for Free Eclipse Glasses and Programming Resources

    The Space Science Institute/STAR Net Library Network is once again making eclipse glasses and resources available to public libraries for the solar eclipses coming to North America in 2023 and 2024. (Remember how hard glasses were to get during the last total eclipse in 2017?!?)

  • Grant Opportunity – ALDI Smart Kids Program

    ALDI Smart Kids is a program dedicated to supporting the health and wellness of the children in the communities ALDI serves. In our service area, there are ALDI stores in Johnstown, Amsterdam, Glenville and Schenectady. The program supports local community organizations that encourage kids to be active in the areas of education, physical activity, nutrition, socializing and the arts. Program support ranges from monetary donations to ALDI gift cards, in amounts from $100 to $5000.

    Eligible organizations must have a 501(c)(3) to qualify. Applications are accepted through an online from between February 1 and December 15 each year and are awarded on a rolling basis.
